The V4 engines being made look tiny and very simple compared to a straight 4.

According to Wikipedia they were made in 1.2, 1.3, 1.5 and 1.7 litre capacities. The UK essex V4 was only 1.7 or 2.0.Not_Anumber wrote:The V4 engines being made look tiny and very simple compared to a straight 4.
Watching the film and seeing the production differences between the 50's and the 70's, I bet that on a modern production line there would be a fraction of the number of staff doing the tasks that were then done by hand.
