Love the car I love the silver paint job and I must admit that “ S “ is in the wrong place as you don’t say 3.0 S

No that is correct. Here's a link to a 1977 Capri brochure. That should clear all questions up.

The car looks fantastic all striped up. A top job, a stunner of a 3.0S. Although the brochure shows the sills as black, I prefer the look of yours being body colour, the car actually looks lower & sportier for it. Glad you're now out & enjoying it.

Thanks rob.i think so too.i dont like the black sills as i always think its there because uve had work done..then again haha.cars got single leafs and 2.8 suspension.lsd too.it had already been fitted so thought id leave it.think its a bit lower.not original but how far do you go.

Ive got a tester for the car in a week.i live in oldham lancs and im moving to cornwall.so im driving her down
345 mile.only got 4 gears as well.and she likes a drink haha :drive:

Your car looks really fab mate, the mirrors can wait a while ;)

I will be the first to admit that I normally struggle to find the love for a mk2 but yours looks the dogs, you should be mighty proud of your efforts :cool:

I'm about an hour and a half from Truro,

We usually do a couple of shows in Wadebridge during the summer. Will PM you dates nearer the time and if you can make it great :)

Ive got em andy haha.ive booked a flight from newquay to manchester airport next saturday.the big drive is sunday .ive worked it out i think £140 petrol.its a hell of a drive 340 odd mile at a steady 60 :crying:

Cant wait for the big drive .although i might get to birmingham and break down and do the rest of the way on the aa truck.save a fortune in juice . :? Or just tickle it down all the way to see how many mpg i get.im thinking two fuel stops.il take a few pics of the trip
