Nah, I'm sure that'll buff out with some T-cut!
Seriously though, wrecking a Capri for cheap so-called entertainment makes me angry.
Even if they did destroy a substitute car which wasn't as nice as the one Dec drove around the corner, it could still have been saved or used as a valuable source of spares.
All the best,
Andrew.
i watched this episode and loved seeing the capri. its a shame about the other capri that was totalled looked in good nick. im glad i sore this episode with the capri in but it made me cringed when they called it a mk2 S . i also liked it how they had rick astley on which im a big fan.
So it's been on at last! Thank goodness I don't have to keep recording this show now. As I said before, the car was sold in excellent condition on ebay the other week, so they must have either wrecked another which they made up to look the same, or made a brand new prop car perhaps? There is some TV magic going on.
Was such a shame to see one getting wrecked - as has been said it looked in good condition. My girlfriend was in stitches at my reaction when we were watching it.

It`s endemic in our society now, everything is `throwaway`. Whereas once a car was a huge, huge deal (when I was at school few people had cars at all) it`s now just another consumer durable, you use it to get from A to B, as you use a washing machine to clean clothes; it`s just a machine that does a job. Hence, seeing one crushed under a piano, blown up, (or whatever A&D did to it) it`s just a bit of a laugh to many, whereas myself and older would see it as a shameful act of vandalism. Which it is.
Without being too political, Isn`t it also a bit shameful that while 90% of the world haven`t got a pot to piss in - we can destroy cars for entertainment.?

Just watched it on Youtube now I'm p!£$$%d off
Couldn't agree more Andrew, they imply they are valuable cars then wreck one even if it was another Capri would have been a use for spares etc.
I get the wind up but they could have used a bloody Corsa or something
The capri in question a64 uol is sorned at the moment in my garage with a big duvet on needs a bit of welding on the back end but apart from that is a great car sadly the last paint job it had isn't great which you can't see on ant and decs show so it wants a nice new coat too just letting you know its alive and well cheers all

Good to hear another Capri is still around, even if some work is needed.

Hi,
As said, it's good that another Capri is in the hands of an enthusiast. Hopefully the car doesn't need much work, I see that in previous MOTs the tester hasn't noted much corrosion that needs attention.
True nothing came up on the last mot but once the front wings were off there was plenty of welding needed including the floor so the whole front end is sorted rust proofed and sealed next up is the whole back end to be looked at then it's a nice new coat when I can afford it lol pics to follow
