Time for SORN

Post by nigecapri »

I think it's time to reclaim the road tax for December to February, she won't be going out in this.

Hi Nige, So it looks like she wont be going SNOW-where fast then fella....I am SNOW sorry to hear this mate  :sorry:

On a more serious note....honest.....thats a pretty proper quality layering of snow you got there. Might get mine out for a quick blast before it hits London. We had a flurry of snow for 10mins earlier today

I thought Wales would be the first to see it! I had a drizzle on the way into work today but it refuses to settle so far :(

So with high winds and the papers saying freezing weather till Feb I had one good run out today in her heater on and music playing I must of been gone for at least 2hrs and then said that’s it’s parked up in the garage now and have put her on a sorn .
Yes I was going to keep her taxed but that salt on the roads just kills the old fords or even new motors and I would only worry .

In a sad way and you have to be nearly 50 it was like when John Nokes would put the tortoise to bed on blue peter .

No snow yet here in "warm" Essex, even if it was 3 foot thick I'd still use mine, no choice it's my only car lol. I just tell myself it's doing what it was designed to do.

Just started my old lady I know I should take it on a run and that it’s a dry sunny winter day , I put the car on a sorn and was really happy when it was salty roads or raining with high winds . But she started after a few turn overs .
Roll on 1st March and I will have a run down to the seaside I think .
