Look at that exhaust on the Ford hotrod. With an exhaust that short, I think even Danny will agree that it must be the loudest car on the planet!

Been waiting for these pictures all week . Great shots as usual Andrew, thanks very much for including my old banger too, still loads to do before it gets close to the condition of yours. Some great cars on show, quite a few I hadn't seen before too plus loads that must have turned up after we'd left, must stay longer next time !
Missed that classic Capri, looks excellent, my wife is becoming a big fan of these & I like the retro fins .
That Buick Riviera we saw looked fabulous & that Nissan GTR is begging to be raced. Was happy to see that Ford Anglia finally after seeing pictures of it on here & classic ford mag.
Enjoyed the morning, looking forward to going again.
All the best,
Rob

Hi Rob,
It was good to catch up and to have another close inspection of your wonderful car. It looked perfect to me, what else could possibly need doing?
I took a photo of Josh's car too, but for some reason it was out of focus. It must be because I was tremblimg with excitement!
Overall it was a good morning, with some amazing cars. Perhaps a little quiet but it is October after all!
Andrew.

That was a very late arrival, I just spotted it coming as I was driving around the Square to leave. I just had to stop the car and grab a photo or two as it was such a beauty.Caprifan Rob wrote:Missed that classic Capri, looks excellent

Great pics Andrew
As usual a great selection of cars, especially the Fords. Yours and Robs looking good
Interesting how many of the Fords are running on non standard wheels now. Possibly due to more choices of tyre.....
I do like the Softline 7 spokes though.

It was good to see a large collection of old Fords still being used in October.

October and November are often a good months, albeit a bit colder.....Shame, as nearly all events are now finished.Andrew 2.8i wrote: Cheers Andy!

Unfortunately, I'd already left by the time he started his engine, but I still heard it from home......

Great set of pictures Andrew.
Apart from the Capris I liked the Alfa 2.5GTV and the Lancia Montecarlo as well as the original 3 door Monza. During my motortrade years I have owned all three and they are all lovely to drive as well as to look at. I must admit I have a soft spot for bright red Italian sports cars even though they can be more trouble than a van load of monkeys.

Thanks Paul,

Those are probably my three non-Capri favourites as well. Although sadly I haven't been lucky enough to own or drive any of them.Paul G wrote: I liked the Alfa 2.5GTV and the Lancia Montecarlo as well as the original 3 door Monza.

Hi Andrew,
Fantastic pictures fella. What a brilliant turnout at 'The Square' yet again. This show never fails to impress....unless you turn up two hours too late of course
My favourite cars are the first two
I agree Robs Special is looking stunning indeed. Its brilliant to see his Capri out on the show circuit now. Full credit to him as its really looking superb. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh during next year.
As for your immaculate 2.8i mate that always puts a big on my face. Remarkable Capri you have mate. Great to see it again before you put it to bed for the winter.
Loved looking through the other pictures too. A few Capris at this meet too. Some beautiful cars there as ever. That beetle SWW 988M to me just looks wrong though....poor thing looks like it needs a decent dinner....mind you it looks like its had a few 'chops' already....
Thanks for the great pictures mate and well done to yourself and Rob for getting along to this.

Thanks! I agree with your comments about Rob's car, it's definitely a stunner!
As ever there is a great variety of cars to see at QS, as long as you get there early , the Beetle was interesting to look at, although it's not my cup of tea, but as ever I can appreciate the effort that goes into creating a particular look.
Hopefully my Capri will venture out in November too......weather permitting!
