Bonnet trim

Post by Alanb67 »

Could anyone tell me if the small bolts on the bonnet trim are fixed or if they are small nuts and bolts. I tried to take my trim off to clean some overspray and snapped one, the rest feel as if they are going to snap also. I have a mk3. I'm a bit dubious about trying anymore.

Hi,
Don't panic if they do snap as they are still available and are relatively cheap to buy.

Those are from Tickover, but you can also try Caprigear and CCI.

Hi,
I've found some more on Ebay for £5.99 including P & P.

Thanks. I will just buy those before i take it off. That way i will be able to get the job done. The rest of the bolts feel as if they will snap anyway.
