The T charge

Post by Jasonmarie »

So what the hell is a T Charge well I am guessing we will not be having a meet up in London on a weekday as this is the latest thing to start and maybe other city centres

It's another ploy by thieving councils and central government to rip a bit more cash from motorists.

Wouldn't want to take my lovely car into London anyway, London is an absolute shit hole.

This is the same area as the congestion charge zone; vehicles with a historic tax class do not pay, which many Capris will be heading towards.

I go into central London about once a month, but always at around 7am on a Sunday morning... the only time the roads are quiet!

What about all the stinky buses and taxis that churn out diesel fumes every day?

Funny as my son and I went or ended up at Greenwich Park for his video he did and when we parked and got out we found that you needed a bank card to park and we only had cash so had to come back in to Kent .

You probably would need a bank loan too to park in London.

Luckily I don't have to go anywhere near the place. IIRC the only times I have been to London was a day trip with my parents mid 70's, and with the school to the Tower of London late 70's early 80's.

I don't like the hussle and bussle of cities, and I have to be REALLY desperate to go 4 miles into the centre of Exeter.

Fair enough if thats your opinion...cant say I agree though.

I love London. Lived here all my life. Driven all my Fords around and about London....and still do believe it or not :o One thing London is not and that is an absolute shit hole....it might be a bit too busy for some and yep house prices are stupid expensive and parking in Central London may be an issue just as it has become in many places around the country, but dont make it a shit hole :)

I would say the opposite as nicks garage must be worth a million pounds and if it was in Knightsbridge it would be a small penthouse with a view . ( that corner shop called Harrods with a capital A . )

Me being a mad cannon I watched that Enfield ghost programme at the other weekend your not near there are you Nick also what was funny I checked on you tube afterwards at some real caught on tape of the Enfield poltergeist and there was a Capri up the road .

I still think a Capri would get more looks then any super car around the Shard or Big Ben bloke .

For anybody not having a clue what Iam talking about , https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enfield_Poltergeist

I've heard that there is some suspected paranormal activity at the Enfield branch of Halfords. As soon as they stock up the shelves with Flexible Vinyl Paint, a mysterious figure appears and is seen carrying every single one to the till...... :)

Andrew.

Jason one of the garages on my block sold last year for just shy of 20K ! I could get alot done to B112 with that....but then I would have nowhere to park it up ! I have kept quiet about this as if the wife found out how much my garage is worth there may be 'complications' :)
Been to that 'corner shop' in Knightsbridge mate but its bleedin shit....they don't sell any Flexible Vinyl Paint there...tossers !!!

Yep not too far from where I live. Its more the Brimsdown part of Enfield where the haunting took place. The wife always goes to the Matalan in Brimsdown....now that's very scary indeed. I think she gets possessed to the point she cant control herself :o
Yep I watched that programme The Enfield Haunting too Jason when it was first aired and like you I went on You Tube afterwards to see some real film of ghosts but while I was doing this the laptop flew out of my hand and bleedin stuck to the ceiling. Was a pain to get it down I can tell you....   ....
