Thats the capri primed but what next?? 800 grit wet and dry ??

Post by caprikid61 »

Hi Folks I managed to get rid of the rust on my capri then rubbed down all the cracks from last years paint job . Now I am at the spraying stage I have primed using 360 bodyfill red and so far the finish is looking ok for rattle cans .Image

Now do I sand down using 800 grit wet and dry or just give it a quick rub with a fine gray pad ?? Want to get this stage right so any advice would be very helpful . Cheers Alex

I'd do a guide coat then use 1000 or 1500.

As above; 800 is far too course, certainly for this stage.
