Brake pads
Brake pads
I'm looking for a set of pads for my capri. Came across a set of Borg and Beck pads that were a reasonable price. Has anyone had any experience of borg and beck stuff. Want to get a decent set of pads for obvious reasons.

I use Mintex, they're fine if you're looking for standard pads.

All I know about Borg and Beck is that it is a brand name owned by Firstline. I have in the past had issues with Firstline parts (although not pads).

Re: Brake pads
Hi,
I have had mintex pads on both my tuned 2.1S and my old granada.
The mintex grip well, even in the bedding in phase, and the amount of dust is on the lower side.
Will be using them again in all my applications

I am using EBC Red Stuff, need litle bit heating to get all power, but will stop as fast as possible if pedal is pushed to floor... with black stripes on tarmac. Green stuff is also pretty good. Had Mintex but they didnt do anything when they were cold leathal brake pads.

If this company has so much control, it is because the others can not compete with it. And it makes sense because it has good products.Ghia15 wrote:Hi,
