Every set I've bought have been set correctly out of the box. It's always worth a check though.Arya2.0S wrote:I'll try to remember to do this next time. Didn't know it was a simple case of bending them, thats kinda funny actually.

Hi I'm new to the forum and had to post to this as I have a high comp pinto in my escort with 45s and have had nothing but problems as soon as I fitted these plugs looked ok gaps ok but when run nothing but misfiring at idle and low revs swapped out ignition system gave up in the end and fitted old ngk,s back to life as normal. On inspection of plugs electrode porcelain cracked at base wouldn't buy these again. Again bought from ebay because they looked interesting and I thought I'd gain a better spark. You live and learn . I remember those. I don't remember them making any difference at all though, despite all the advertising hype.....

I went out with a girl, but I broke it off because she wouln't let me feeler.nigecapri wrote: Stick your thumbnail in the gap between the electrodes, if it's a slack fit then gently bend the top electrode down a bit until it's a tight fit. If you have girly thumbnails then use a feeler gauge. Are we allowed to say feeler...
