Golden Lady
Golden Lady
After a long time searching using other websites and asking looking almost giving up i decided a few weeks ago to post on here as a last ditch attempt to find a suitable Car for me ! I had a couple of replies to my request but one in particular was of interest this was from a gentleman named Sam Holmes, after a couple of messages on here then text and phone calls about life, hi car etc i decided i should go and see the car and talk money the car i believe a lot of you are familiar with as being the Gold Mk 3 1979 T reg the car is now mine has moved here to be looked after she now has a little over 7200 miles Sam is a great guy and was sad to see it go I'm sure we will keep in touch and he is welcome to visit anytime ! I may treat you all to some pics if i can ever work out how to on here Kind Regards to all

Great find, I have seen pics of the car
Are you keeping the mileage low (say under 10k), or driving it regardless

Re: Golden Lady
I fully intend to keep the mileage very low possibly not in excess of 100 a year she remains in fine fettle !

Jeepers O'Reilly !! Are you serious when you say 100 miles a year ! That's hardly enough to get the juices flowing Or is this a 'mis-print' ?
Congratulations on your fine purchase by the way. Certainly sounds like Sam has sold it to a good home. Nice one
All the best
Nick

Re: Golden Lady
Thank you for your kind messages the 100 is not a misprint however it is not set in stone either ! This car just deserves to remain low !

Re: Golden Lady
It does look like it's just come out the showroom . It's so nice that we never really own our capris we are just the keepers for the next lucky person .
I never understood why people went to art museums and looked at a pictures for so long when I was a young chap ,but I think and I guess many of you will say the same ( or is that man mad) but I can quite happily sit and look at my Capri as a piece of art & history .
Very nice and hope to see it a show .
