Fully Fitted Mats

Post by ukfpv »

I have produced some fully fitted and model specific (currently Capri 280, Tickford, and 2.8 Injection) mats. An exact match to the original factory fitted carpet, bound in leatherette, and each with the model logo embedded. Not cheap, but I have gone for quality over quantity. £125 per set plus recorded postage. I will probably be at the Capri National in May if anybody wants to save on postage, but please contact me beforehand if interested

Thanks

Yes. With respect to CCI their mats are produced to a certain price point and as such differ in quality, and are not fully fitted. You pays your money and takes your choice

Hi,
I'm tempted to buy a set of these mats. I'll be at the CCI National, so I'll come by and have a look at these to see the quality of them for myself.
I'm just curious, but why did you decide to have 2.8 embroidered above Injection on that particular logo? I would have thought it would have looked better to have it on one line to mirror the boot lid badge.

Andrew.

Nice but the drivers Mat is missing the square part that stops the Mat from wearing with your feet when you drive and the low end mats miss that part out as I bought some on eBay for the mini bus and my feet ripped them up in no time .
But very nice for show mats .

Over the years I guess several embroidery designs for 2.8 injection have been used - on these I've used this one Andrew

In my experience factory fitted mats do not have drivers side 'pads' as they are not required when a good quality carpet is used, and from an aesthetic point of view in my opinion look clumsy Jasonmarie

Hi,
I take it you didn't take any mats to the National? I kept an eye out, but I didn't see you anywhere.

Yes I was there Andrew, but I didn't take a Capri so parked up in the non Capri parking area and thus didn't have my wears on show. Brought a set of each plus a few Bosch fuel pumps - showed them to a few people who I got chatting with - all positive feed back - I had a good wander around but evidently unfortunately we didn't bump into each other

Maybe we've spoken/met in the past at the National - I'm good friends with Jason Craze so normally have a walk around with him and Mark from the 280 register
