Mmmmmm...
The car packs a 2.5 litre, four-cylinder Millington motor that generates 333 naturally-aspirated horses and absolutely screams at the limit when stretched out to the 9,000 rpm redline. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox" You can learn more about it here: http://blog.hoonigan.com/gymkhana-escort/

333bhp from a 2.5 4 cylinder N/A is pretty impressive.
Those massive wheels too. Swoon.

Looks to be quite a beast, My step son was competing at the Gymkhana in the 340.
He also had some fun against the Mustang.

Competing in a 340? A Volvo 340?
That's blown my mind. Looks a beast though
Any more pics/info on that one? Looks interesting.

I will try & sort some, to be fair it has been running a V8 for the last 2 seasons but had a clio/Williams engine before that.

I hope I'm not treading on Lee's toes mentioning this, but there are a few photos on the Facebook page.

Re: Ken Block's Mk2 Escort
No problem Andrew.
I have given him plenty of grief over the years about the Volvo but to be honest I think its cool that he is competing against some high spec cars with big budgets in something out of the ordinary.

I imagine that he gets a lot of support from the spectators for that very reason. We all like to see a driver do well in what appears to be an unusual car.
Good on him.
Andrew.
