The most puzzling check on this car, is it shows it last ran out of tax on 1/10/1999 and it doesnt come up as sorn just unlicenced and doesnt show its scrapped , and the other strange thing about it is if you look at the previous keeper details it shows most recent keeper change 21/03/2000 and then under colour change it shows most recent colour change 02/04/2000 , so from it being red on 21/03/2000 it went to black within 12 days of the new owner on 21/03/2000. This capri was painted black for some reason but its never been sorn or taxed since 1999 so whats happened to it, you surley you would not go to the trouble of a respray within 2 weeks of ownership and not tax it. origanally this capri was green when new because it went from green to red on 26/07/1990. Another thought even if it had 1 years road tax on it from 1/10/1998 up to 1/10/99 , by law it should have been sorn because any cars taxed after january the 31st 1998 onwards had to be sorn by law.
