Does Anyone Have Any Recommendations For Tyre Inflators?

Post by Andrew 2.8i »

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for tyre inflators?
I was thinking maybe the Ring RAC640 might be a decent one to buy.

At the moment I use my trusty single cylinder footpump, but I thought it was about time I got something a bit less hard work!

Thanks in advance,

Andrew.

I have an halfords digital one. It works well, will take a tyre from flat to full in a couple of minutes. Small enough as well.

Yeah. A draper 50ltr compressor. Takes 12 seconds to fill a tyre.

Hi,
That is useful, but I was thinking of something slightly more portable.

That's more like I had in mind! Halfords have got quite a range. Which model have you got?

I am also looking to buy one of these but I am hoping to get one that doubles as a jump pack. That is if they exist

There you go:

I had one of those years ago, and it worked OK. I can't remember what happened to it. I think I must have lent it to somebody and never got it back!

It's highly recommended if anyone was thinking of buying one.
I can't comment on longevity or reliability yet, but for a portable machine, it inflates the tyres very quickly. Much faster than the one I had previously.
