Fuse box q...

Post by rich_jc »

On which connector does the single black plug go onto on the fuse box? can't seem to find a straight answer in the "search" section.

Just checked both my 2.8i and Tom's Mk2 1.6.
In both cases the single black connector has a red wire coming out of it (it feeds the washer pump and corrosion there is the main cause of the pump not working)
It fits on the spade connector coming out beside Fuse 1 (nearest the windscreen)
Then there's the multiplug which fits in line with Fuses 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Hope that helps ;)

Cheers Bug, that explains why my old and new washer pumps won't work then (I put it on number 2).
