Found this on Facebook if anyone fancies it.

"Calling all capris‼️Bristol/Somerset/Devon/South Wales/Wherever

The Weston-super-Mare seafront classic show is on 20th and 21st April 2019. A brilliant way to kick off the 2019 show season, free entry both days with over 600 cars in attendance. This year we wanna get as many capris there as possible.

Show starts at 9am and is located on:

Beach Lawns, Beach Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1AT

We will be meeting at McDonald's for 8am on:

2 Western Links, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3WL for

Anybody is welcome to join the convoy through the town to the show ground.

If you're coming from further afield serial Capri owner Adam Lagley has got you covered offering rooms and great food at the Bear Inn, with secure parking walking distance from the seafront, town centre and the show ground.

£2 entry fee on the door guys."

This show is highly recommended. On Easter Sunday there must have been 400-500 cars at the show, I would imagine that Saturday wouldn't be so good as fewer cars would be there. I had a great day last year even though it was freezing cold!
Over 20 Capris went last year in total, 12 of those met at McDonalds beforehand for a convoy to the show site.

Due to circumstances beyond my control I can't make it, but maybe next year we could have a gathering?
It would be 11th and 12th April, so week after Haynes meet if we did that, or do the Sunday here instead.

My preference would be this show, I think. Although Haynes is arguably the better show in terms of quality of cars, this show is an all-dayer which means there is more time to relax and take your time looking around.

Hope you had a good day at WSM Andrew :)

Looks like a good turnout of Capris, including my old 3.0 Ghia VKB155V.

Hi Andy,
Having a great day today!
I'm still in W-S-M at the moment, making the most of the incredibly hot weather. :D
It's a great show for Capri enthusiasts, I haven't counted them all up yet, but there must be 25 Capris here. That's not a bad showing for a local show.

That would be good Rob

As Andrew said before, I would prefer this over the Haynes meet the week before.

Yes, that would be a change of setting & hopefully some new cars to see.

As much as I like the drive to Haynes and catching up with people, there are way too many cars there that I'm not interested in.
But it's the only regular event that some of us can get to to meet up. Maybe WSM needs to become an early meet and Haynes a later in season meet up?
