Hi Andy,
Some very nice cars there! The event does attract a great variety of all sorts of cars, similar to QS. Talking of QS, there are some cars I recognise from there, but not many.

Unfortunately, some of the usual idiots in the leaving video. What are those clowns in the Nissan GTRs playing at? We've said it before, but that sort of driving on the public road will end up wrecking the event for everybody else.

Roll on August!

Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
Yes many cars there I didn't give a second look at, but it's worth going for the classics and Museum if you haven't seen it before :D

If the Police had a camera on that road they would make £1000s in driving fines! I'm surprised there hasn't been an accident there, but only a matter of time I expect.....IMO, Haynes should send out a warning if it carries on the event will be stopped!!!

I gave it a bit for the camera but didn't make it on this one ;)

The person who posted the video has said that he had to thin it out a lot. It seems strange as he appears to have left out at least one nice car (XR4x4) and put in a lot of uninteresting crap.
Back on the subject of the idiot drivers, why would people drive like that knowing that it is likely to be filmed and put on YouTube? Giving it a bit of welly to show of a nice exhaust or engine note is understandable, but racing side-by-side on a single carriageway? Muppets.

Andrew.

TBH, it's not my ideal show, but a nice 115 mile round trip for the car that would have been sat in the garage if I didn't go.
Some friendly people there, but as mentioned some :wank: drivers too.

This video was a good 30 minutes before I left, and I expect Keiran was at Simply Ford so might be less videos this time.

A bit late into the conversation as I have just watched the you tube clip but I did go to the Haynes museum a few years ago during the week and had a good few hours looking around and had lunch in the cafe there . But it’s a shame that new mad people are wheel spinning ( all I did that in the mud yesterday ) on tarmac as grass is ok . Yes Andy your right how do the police not stop them .
I can see one day somebody getting things wrong and hurting somebody at these type of functions .
But saying all that some very nice cars there .

Fame at last! :D
F217SOO looks and sounds amazing. 8-) I look forward to seeing this beauty in person.
As you wrote earlier, you've got the getaway just about right. Fast enough to entertain the crowds but not too fast to be a complete pillock!

Andrew.

Just thought i would mention as I had the radio on tonight that they are giving warnings out tommorow for the south west & south ( Dorset down to Devon / Cornwall & wales And up a bit ) that there is risk of flooding and a months rain in a few hours .

So just take care if traveling to a show on Sunday folks .

Yes sorry did leave it a bit late and thought Christ your going straight in to that . Andrew I think said they once had to tow capris out of the Capri event because it was so wet .
Not fun when your wet and your car is wet . I have been so lucky as I only had a drizzle on the car and not had rain yet .
