Re: lancaster bomber 2017
I was thinking of going to this one.... Its quite a long drive for me, so I'll have to look into some local B&B accommodation for the night before.
All the best

I always look forward to the reports of this meet in the club magazine.
However, at 5.5 hours from home, it's just too far for me to go, sadly.
I hope those who go have a fantastic day.
Andrew.

Its 250 miles for me.... Hopefully I won't hit too many traffic jams around the M25Andrew 2.8i wrote:I always look forward to the reports of this meet in the club magazine.

At least I'll get an opportunity to meet up with some of the Capri enthusiasts from up North. Des and Steve are going, so worth a trip to meet up with them

I took the 2.0 up from Kent 5 or 6 years ago, just over 200 miles. Surprisingly the wife came too! We stopped at a Travelodge at Sleaford about 20 miles out from East Kirkby. It was held in April back then so hopefully this year it will be a bit warmer. Unfortunately I'll be heading north up the M6 that day otherwise I might have given it a go again.

Great to see interest in this years event , its promising to be a great capri fest , if anyone would like to camp over next door we have secured accommodation at the east Kirkby hideaway just bring a tent and go for it with camping! it guaranteed to be a lot quieter than classic ford with no late night calls for Alan !
