Classic Ford Battlesbridge 12.08.18

Post by oldfords »

A great show for those in the South East as Nick and Johns photo's from last year testify.

viewtopic.php?f=19&t=51569

If you want to park on the show ground in your classic its £5 per vehicle per show (except Classic Motorcycles) admits driver
and one passenger...

Bit if a bargain really as entry for the public is £8 per person.

Bookings must be made at least 14 days prior to the show. (link to booking form attached) If anyone is interested

The last show in September is also usually a cracker.

Hi all,

I’ll definitely be nipping over to this one, got to be one of the best on the calendar in my opinion!!! I missed the Kent old Ford last week and the Uxbridge show, so no messing about for this one, see you all there, cheers,

John.

Your not going to drive your stunning Capri in the rain Andrew ? As that A127 does get flooded really quick ?

Only joking I don’t think it’s going to rain till later in the day so you might miss it , looking for to the pictures

There are some pics on Facebook from an XR member. Some nice cars there and it looked dry but cloudy.

Yeah, was gutted I missed this one due to bleedin work !!! Classic Ford Battlesbridge really is a stunning show. John managed to get there as I got a couple of pics from him earlier when I was sitting on the bus stand  but his pics put a :D on my face. Think he met up with Steve (stish) and Andrew (Arnoldhar) who both had their Capri's on display. Think Jeff (oldfords) was going too so as said I was really upset to miss this.

Andrews 2.0S really is a truly remarkable Capri. There is clean, there is cleaner than clean, then there is Andrews Pinto !!!!!! I was drooling over the pic John sent me earlier. Am sure he will pop up some here at some stage. Steve's 2.8i Special was looking stunning too !!!!

Anyway was sad to miss this show....

All the best

Nick

Nick, sorry you couldn’t make it today, I had the car on ramps for your inspection! weather wasn’t the best and I think it stopped a few people attending. There were still plenty of very nice cars there. Be good to see John’s photos
