Bucket and Spade Run 2019
So this is my local show on Ramsgate seafront. I had the choice of taking the car and being there a while or taking the other half and going for an hour or so - plenty of other stuff on my plate at present so I took the second option. Not a bad turnout - some cars I recognised from Deal last week and some were here last year but here's some of what was on show:

OK these two aren't the standard, just a bit quirky
Only a couple of Capris (I could have doubled that!)

For once Capris were out numbered by Mantas

Hi Peter,
Excellent photos of some rather good cars!
The weather looks very nice, much better than we had here.

Great pictures, loving that 328 GTS, I'd even grow a 'tash just to own it. Nice venue too.

Great pictures Peter. This looks a cracking little show in a lovely location mate. Remember you posting up pics last year. Thanks for uploafing the pics again this year. Brilliant turn out and super weather too. Some great classics there. Wasn't that 'light green' Capri at Deal Peter ? Love those Mantas too !

Re: Bucket and Spade Run 2019
Thanks Steve.
The only other shows I am aware of are in the leaflet presented at Deal - Tunbridge Wells 23 June, Whitstable you possibly know about on 14 July ad Herne Bay 11 August. Someone at Deal told me there is a show at Palm Bay again towards the end of September and the wife picked up a leaflet for Westwell village Hall on 30 June. Most of those clash with other things for me.

Re: Bucket and Spade Run 2019
Thanks for the comments guys and yes it is quite a nice location, on a sunny day at least! and yes Nick the green Cappa was at Deal but as it was 50% of the Capri turnout this time I popped it up again!

Tied up most of June and will be in Scotland when T Wells is on. I'll keep H Bay in mind and see what is happening nearer the time.

Re: Bucket and Spade Run 2019
Will check my work rota for this one Steve. Looks a really nice show does this
Been to Herne Bay a while ago with some mates. Lovely little seaside town...just don't stray off the seafront into any of the "local" backstreet pubs as we did thanks to a taxi driver who must have taken a dislike to us as he recommended a pub so he dropped us outside " The Queen Vic" about 3pm on a Sat afternoon. We opened the doors, walked in and asked if the England game was being shown, they heard our London accents and like on those films everyone stopped drinking and just stared at us. We then decided...nope, time to do one !!! On turning to walk out a few said " yeah go on... fuck off " We spent the rest of the day/night down on the seafront pubs which were a bit more welcoming
