Great pics guys! I have a few pics as well, great videos John, loving that! I had a boat party to go to in the heart of London so I left and drove straight to Tower Millenium Pier, my Capri coped with the traffic well, and despite people's concerns, it wasn't on bricks when I got back! I then had an awesome blast home later that night!
Thanks to all those that came from far & wide, it was a brilliant day, great to catch up with a lot of you. Next year Ace is under debate as Surrey Capri Club has to concentrate on Brooklands 50th & with the Lancaster Bomber photoshoot/50th celebrations in Lincolnshire just a month before, it may be too tight, we'll see what happens

First love the video of leaving and following Nicks capri , but I still can’t get over your hi fi set up and to get the results from the same speakers we both have . I do have this on my list of projects but after hearing the sound it’s going to the top of the list .
Just love it John .

So I have seen a very nice picture on Facebook but can I copy the picture of some of our cars in here , I can’t ask the person who took the picture because I can’t find it again “ what am I like “ and I bet in the end it was one of us ?

Morning All,
If I may, I'll add a few more photos from the day. They aren't as good as Nick's or Neil's, but hopefully there will be some cars there that aren't shown in the photos already posted. I'll separate the photos into three sections - forum cars, standard (ish) and modified cars.
Where better to start than the fantastic cars of this forum.
Great meet....I'm still buzzing with excitement!
Cheers,
Andrew.

As always Andrew some great shots there as normal , I do think your the forums head photograph . Yes was a great day I spoke with Nick yesterday as said hope more to come . It was hot that day and now the weather seems normal again with rain , hope the weather been kind to all at the Essex meet today .
Also I will say again thank you for coming to the ace Andrew as you know how shocked I was to see you in the car park as I said to my dad “ Christ wait till I tell Andrew there’s a Capri that’s spot on with his “ until I read the number plate about 5 times and then it clicked .

Thanks Jason, and thanks to everybody for giving such a warm welcome on the day to an intruder from the West! Thanks for the drink, by the way
As you say, it was very hot on the day, and it was getting to me a bit by the end. Business as usual today though!
Hopefully the poor weather won't affect the turn out at a big show like Battlebridge.

Hi Andy. Yes, there were some very nice cars indeed. The people, cars and the sunshine made for a brilliant day.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the extra pictures mate. They are brilliant fella. Nice one ! Really enjoyed looking through them bringing back some lovely memories of a stunning day at The Ace !! We did the forum proud with our turnout. Nine forum capris if you include Danny's double show oh make that ten with Kris and his wonderful 2.0S !!!!
Andrew I have to say mate and I have said it before that your 2.8i really is an amazing Capri and to have it grace the North London roads was great !! Glad you go 'out' of the smog ok and back across the water to the safety of Wales although I heard the Severn Bridge was closed due to staff shortage ? As Jason and others have said though was really good to see you in North London mate
Anyway as said mate great pics and all the forum Capri's are a credit to their owners indeed. What a variety we had to Its great seeing the moda owners have done to theirs and getting ideas
Jason I agree mate, that is a great picture indeed of yours and Johns in a line up. You should get it framed mate !! Both looking superb. Hope you hah it parked in gear as that camber in the carpark was pretty severe looking at this pic again
All the best chaps
Nick

Hi Nick,
Thanks to you, and all the others for your kind words.
I heard on the radio that the Severn bridge was closed, but I think that was the original one, not the new bridge that was open as normal.
I had a great day out in London, but I didn't get very far before I attracted the attention of the local constabulary.
I was crawling in traffic along the North Circular when a Plolice car drew alongside in the outer lane. I could see the nice officer in the passenger seat was looking at my car. I then saw the window being opened.....you can imagine what was going through my mind, but he only wanted to have a quick chat about my car. He asked how long I'd owned it and passed a few compliments my way about the condition. Phew!
Andrew.

B975GAV looks intriguing (Damn there goes my V8 thing again)
It appears to have the same rear silencers as A304PAT. Nice looking exhaust and it suits both cars. I have seen a similar style on a Capri before, think it's custom made.....Definitely not Sportex or Janspeed!

Hi Andy,
Obviously I guessed that the 5.7 was a Chevy engine, but I've just noticed that it's got the Bowtie on the grille, not a Ford badge. Never noticed that before...
Looks like an amazing car, but I'm not sure what exhaust it is. Definitely not a Sportex, as you say.
