Bucket & Spade run, Ramsgate 2018

This is only a couple of miles down the road from me but I'd overlooked it. However, popping out this morning we spotted a convoy of old cars and the penny dropped so I went back for the camera and had a wander for a couple of hours. Some exhibitors were, unsurprisingly, at Deal last week but there were a lot of cars that weren't.
Only a couple of Capris and mine wasn't one of them this time. The white 2.8 did both shows but it's a Capri so here it is again followed by some other Fords.

Hi Peter,

Wow this looks a great show mate and just up the road on the seafront again...lucky you ! Thanks for posting up the pics Peter. Some great Fords there. Love the number plate on that Capri CI5 !! That Black RS2000 is to die for. Drop dead gorgeous

A great array of lovely classics in another seaside location. Nice one Peter :)

Hi Peter,
Thanks for sharing your brilliant photos.
It's lucky that you spotted the convoy of classics, otherwise you may have missed what looks like an amazing show.
What a glorious selection of Fords in attendance, particularly the Escorts. The white 2.8 looks to be in very good order. My favourite non-Ford is without doubt the Interceptor, I just love those.

Thanks again,
Andrew.

I never knew they did a car show in ramsgate it’s only down the road as well , some great pictures there peter . Also some nice cars funny it seems like everybody has a classic now adays . I must say that old Rolls Royce would be in my lotto funded man cave I have read they are a lot of money to keep on the road .

Yeah, it's an annual thing. There's often a meet up (it's been Faversham and Canterbury way in the past) and a drive to Ramsgate but I seem to miss the advertising for it most years!

Yep, if I'd gone out a few minutes earlier or later I may have been none the wiser, so perfect timing!

Are you getting fickle Andrew, it was Astons the other day

Great pictures Peter. Some great cars on show & looks like a good venue, I can taste the sea air from here :D .
Apart from the usual :ford: suspects it's great to see some unusual ones too like that Anglia estate, Ford 'woodie' estate & Zodiac convertible, what a load of work that must have been. Cheers for loading them

Deal was possibly exceptional as it stretches over a mile and I was completely the opposite end to Nick. I walked a mile to his car and couldn't find him, walked back down the other end on the hunt for him, took some pictures then walked back to Nick's car where he was. We then walked down to my car as he hadn't seen it before then back to his as he was in the main show area. Then of course I had to walk back to mine again to go home. So 6 miles plus wandering around the show itself. Ramsgate is a smaller show and a bit more compact, thankfully :D
