Good Morning,
Well, the new year has barely just begun and the show/ meet season has already started!
I was a bit concerned that some people may have lost interest in bringing their cars along, this is because at the December meet there was a large presence of Police and traffic wardens and a lot of cars were given tickets. In the end, however, I needn't have worried as the January meet was busier than I ever could have expected.
As always, it's good to see such a varied selection of new and old cars. Here are some of my highlights of interesting cars:
As ever, I'll start with the Fords and where better than with Mustang mania!

Thanks Andrew,
Love those Mustangs
Looked like a good turnout for the time of year. Nice to see not everyone is as soft as us

Hi Andrew,
Wow, some great pictures as ever there fella. Great to see this in full swing straight away in Jan. I think I can safely say that's the first Subaru BRZ I've seen on the road (I know its only in a pic, but I'll count it...) I've only ever seen the Toyota version, nice one Andrew, cheers for sharing these. We'll have to see about getting over to one of these again this Year, cheers,
John...

It's just what was needed to lift the winter blues!
Hopefully you, Danny, and Nick, cat permitting, can make it along sometime in the spring or summer!

Re: Queen Square January 2018
Hi Andrew, what a brilliant morning out, great to catch up mate. I've got to say it's an amazing car meet whatever you're into. As your pictures show, there's plenty of classics if that's your thing & some amazing rare new cars too. Probably won't see a Bristol Fighter again, not my favourite car but great to see something that rare. And that's the thing, there's plenty of classic shows in the year, but not many meets where a '34 Lagonda & new 911 Turbo are vying for parking space, it's what keeps us coming back.
Great set of pictures (boys are happy they've made your gallery ) glad to see a few Capris out too, the green 3.0s left before I got to see it looked good from a distance.
Thanks for posting,
Rob

Hi Rob,
Andrew.
That sums it up nicely!Caprifan Rob wrote: And that's the thing, there's plenty of classic shows in the year, but not many meets where a '34 Lagonda & new 911 Turbo are vying for parking space
I missed the 3.0S too, but as I've seen it before I wasn't too disappointed.Caprifan Rob wrote: glad to see a few Capris out too, the green 3.0s left before I got to see it
