My re-born Capri

Post by Stish704 »

Mario, who has been detailing my car has sent me over a few pictures of my car. Well more than a few to be honest but here's just a selection!

I'll take a few more once I get her home.

Looks great :)
Nice to know there are other possible options than a respray.

Took the words out my mouth there yes I just been watching the video and the before and after pictures , just amazing as I would have thought the car has a full body restro as that paint work looked like it was past it’s time .
How did he do that also your engine bay almost looks as good as pinto nicks .

No I would love to ask how much it cost but that sounds very cheeky but it makes you think as I also have 3 little swell marks that I know are there but the high end gloss affect he has given your car is mirror like .

No how it was done is a true credit to yourself and the man who performed the work .

Like we always say pictures does not do the car any justice so are you bubble wrapping the car for this winter or has the Capri got your side of the bed .....

Well done and Iam so pleased for you as I thought and I hope I talk for everybody on here it did look like a full resprayed job .

Can’t wait to see it one day .

Thanks mate, really appreciate that. Can’t lie, it was making me depressed just thinking about it but now, can’t wait to show it off!
She’s going into a garage now with a nice sheepskin cover for the winter.
Another thing is, I’m too frightened to drive it! Long as it stays dry I’ll be ok.
As for cost, more than I expected but a lot cheaper than a respray!

Looks amazing, got to be happy with that. The under bonnet shot looks really impressive, haven't seen the before shot, but if it was anything like mine it would have taken ages to get to that as 'new condition'. An excellent job :applaud:
