I got a bit carried away with this one. But this was an amazing motor, look at the size of those Throttle Bodies.... Obviously a lot of work has been carried out on this...
A Nice Lotus Cortina.... I do love these Air Boxes... Teracotta (I fuckin hate 2.8i's) Glyn, I think it was pointed out to me these where standard on these motors...

Hi John.
What a brilliant little meet mate. Well found old chap ! Looked fantastic weather too.
Jeepers that blue Mk2 Escort is bleedin stunning mate...stunning !! Yep I am green with envy after seeing a few of those engine bays. Incredible standard....although not too sure about those ht lead 'holders' on that Capri pretending to be a 1.6
Wow ! That airbox on the Lotus Cortina certainly commands the engine bay dont it just
Great to see a few Capri's fella. You say you parked up alongside some great lookers...bet the owners of those cars were saying exactly the same about your superb Special John.
Great pics John. Nice one. I am just going down to polish my engine bay now and wax my ht lead clips
All the best
Nick

Hi John,
Well, it certainly looks like you had a great morning, what a superb selection of cars! Of course your car looks as gorgeous as ever.
I see that the EFi Laser managed to get from London to Manchester and back on one tank of fuel.....a little less thirsty than the 2.8 methinks!
Andrew.

Great meet John, setting looked good & weather even better. It's amazing how good certain colours look in the sunshine, like that pale blue mk2 escort, it looked stunning. Nice to see some unusual cars like that '33 Ford hot rod you parked near & that American estate whose owner needs some parking lessons..
Cheers for sharing.
