Hello Everyone,
Last Sunday I went along to the Classics at Scolton show near Haverfordwest. In my opinion it's the best show in the West Wales area, and there were a few interesting cars there. Here are some of my highlights...
In egotistical fashion I'll start off with this photo of my own car that I took on the way through the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

And after arrival....

This 1983 2.0S was immaculate and was for sale. The seller was asking for £7,500, but I told him that it was probably worth closer to £9K to the right buyer. What are your opinions?

Hi Andrew,
What a great selection of Fords and other classics
Nice to see such an early G reg Capri, and that 2.0S looks great, I agree it's worth around £9K all day long.
Love the Red Mk2 Golf GTI, Astra GTE and Corvette C3 too
Andy

Re: Classics @ Scolton June 2017
Hi Andy,
By my calculation, there were only 27 Mk1 Astra GTEs licensed as of Q4 2016!
Andrew.
I thought so, considering what Dr. B sold that red one for recently. I thoroughly looked over this one and the bodywork seemed flawless.andyd wrote: that 2.0S looks great, I agree it's worth around £9K all day long.
I also really like the C3 corvettes, I prefer the coupe to the convertible.andyd wrote:Love the Red Mk2 Golf GTI, Astra GTE and Corvette C3 too

Hi Andrew,
Amazing pics you've posted here fella!!! I really don't know where to start!!! Too many Great Motors... (Must have taken an AGE to Up-Load???)
As said, the Astra MKI GTE.... Wow, there's a Pic of Nick at an Uxbridge Show admiring one of these!!! Love them... Also the Rover Vitesse.. I was Lucky enough to Chauffeur in one of these in the 1980's, an early MKI, with Small Instrument Binnacle, before it went right across to the passenger side!! I must also agree with the Ferrari Dino.... Wasn't it Enzo who said as the engine is in the front, I won't have the Ferrari Badge on the Front, so they put the Dino Badge on the Front??? Or is this 'Hear Say'???
OK!!! Going out on a Limb here, my Favorite......
Um....
Um......
Um............
Um....................
The 928!!! What a GT Car!!!???? Wow!!! (OK!!! Who's the U-Boat Commander???)
Cheers for sharing these Photo's Andrew!!! Awesome!!!! All the very best for now, cheers,
John.....

As said, it's probably the best local show in the area so it does attract a few nice cars. Although the Ferrari...I mean Dino...is from Hook. Maybe down here on holiday?
The good thing about this show is that the organisers print a proper programme with all the cars listed. Nice!

What a great show Andrew, weather & turn out looked superb & the drive there must have been fun too looking at your first picture. That x-pack Escort looked great in yellow, don't see many like that.
Cheers for posting, can we have more pictures next time though

I tried to limit myself to just a few photos.........and failed miserably!
I've been to this show for the last few years and it's very good. Although the organisers are very strict and don't allow any vehicle movements before the end of the show. Luckily there's plenty of cars to look at.
Andrew.
