The photo doesn't do this Focus pick-up justice. It had a sparkly paint finish that looked good in the morning sunshine. The body looked very well converted too, done to a high standard.

That's a super car to have as a first car. The Cortina and Escort E models seem to come in better colours than the regular models. What colour was yours?

Yeah I loved that car it was metallic purple and it was a 2 door version. It had the 1300GT Kent engine pushing out about 70bhp, which was ample back then in such a light weight car A lot of my mates had Capri's but I was an Escort person back then until the 2.8 came out
