I met up with Mark, Andrew and John on Sunday at the Queen Square breakfast meet in Bristol. Had a great time and a lovely drive there and back in the glorious sunshine.

Here's a few photo's I took on my low spec phone (hopefully Andrew will add some better ones ;) )

Nice one Neil. Thanks for the pics. I was gutted I missed yet another Queens Square meet. Always a great show of cars and fantastic weather too. No wonder John "postponed" work so he could go

Forum Capri's look great as ever.

Thanks for uploading these pics mate. I really must try to make one of these Queens Square meets

All the best Neil

Thanks Nick,
It was a shame you couldn't get to this one as this is a really good meet. They are held every month so hopefully you'll be able to get along to one soon.
We were thinking about popping to the Walton Bridge breakfast meeting in October which I think is the first Sunday. Perhaps you can make it to that one :D

All the best

Yes, where did it go.. Gutted I couldn't make this one, thanks for posting up the pictures Neil, work has clashed with this meet most of the year but aiming to get to another one before the year is out. Looked like a great meet, maybe me & Nick can make the next forum outing :D

Hi Neil,
Thanks for uploading some great photos, I enjoyed looking through them.
It was great meeting up with the chaps from the forum again and seeing their fantastic cars. It was a good meet for classic Fords, and nine Capris in total was a brilliant turnout. As well as yours, Mark's and John's cars, I especially liked the black Special that joined us later. What a corker that was.

Hopefully we'll all be able to meet up again next show season.

I'll add some of my photos to your thread, if you don't mind, however it won't be until after the weekend.

All the best,
Andrew.

Hi Andy,
Not yet! He seemed like a smashing chap, and appeared knowledgeable too. We did tell him about the forum, so he might register and contribute.

Hi Andrew, some great extra photos of the day, looked an excellent meet. Plenty of great Capris on show, and fords in general, & no you're not alone, I'm a fan of the Esprit too. I know they're not for everyone but I bet they drive as good as they look, when they don't need fixing ;)
Cheers,

Hi Rob,
You're probably spot on there! Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious as they say...... They still look good though, even after all these years.

You should definitely try to make it along in the Capri next year. Maybe even for October, if you're not working.

Hi Neil, Andrew,

Cheers for posting these pics of a Great Morning I very nearly missed, but thankfully made it in the end.... The chap who joined us towards the end was great with an amazing Cappa to Boot, what a shine!!!!! Would have made Nick think twice about his choice of Wax!!! :xd: :xd: :xd: I will admit I have now forgotten his name, It wasn't Justin, but I seem to think similar...???

Any how, I can't add any more pics to do any justice to these already posted. The only one I could add if any one is interested, the Orange 240Z was for sale and I did snap the contact details if anyone is interested???

Hey Andrew, we must not throw stones in glass houses you know.... The Lotus acronym.... We all driving Fords.. Fix On Road Daily...... And having boasted about never over heating, guess what happened 1 mile from home on the return journey!!! Went up to the Red. Got the IR Thermometer out and had a Cold spot in the Rad, so whipped it out on Sat, reverse flushed it and the block and all seems well again, phew!!!!

So, the next Walton Bridge should be the 1st Sunday in Oct, aim to be there for 9am, no Beer on Sat!!! Ekkk.. Well, all for now, cheers chaps, till next time,

John....

Hi John,
I thought it was Julius, but my hearing isn't what it was.....
I'll add a photo of his Capri in a few days. I hope I can do the shine justice!

Hi,
There's always a great variety of cars here. If you're local to this meet, it's always worth popping along.
There was an excellent turnout of Capris this time, more than there usually is.
