Hi John,
Thank you for your kind Birthday wishes!
What a fantastic meet, a real treat to see so many classics attending on a cold December morning, looks like you had a great day.
Your car looks as stunning as ever, of course.
What a brilliant selection of cars, and to see 2 DeLoreans in the same place.....wow!
Talking of wow......that Viva HB is really something too.
I'm not sure of the first unknown car, but you're spot on with the second, it is a Jensen-Healey.
Thanks for posting these great photos.
All the best,
Andrew.

Hi Des,
Cheers for the comments about mine, always nice to hear... especially when I only chucked a Bucket at it this morning before setting off. This is a Great one to just turn up to, it's down Surrey way, just the other side of the Airport!!! Actually, that probably means nothing to you. It's the South side of Heathrow, about 15 Mins drive... Here's a link for you...
https://www.facebook.com/waltonbridgebreakfastclub
South Yorkshire, its a bit of a trek for you I would say. I'm from Huddersfield originally myself.... I do still miss the North!!! Anyhow, hope to catch up with you maybe next Year on the show circuit??? All the best,
John...

Hi Andrew,
Hope you had a Stunning day for your Birthday. Did you manage to get out??? Cheers for the comments on mine too...
Cheers for the 'Mystery Car' clear up, I just could not make my mind up and was confident you could help!!! I must say, the 2 DeLoreans really was a treat!!! Especially as they were different too. A Manual & an Auto..... I wish I had snapped all the cars there today, really was great to see so many out and about. I even got a Convoy with a Great looking Porsche 944 for a while on the way there.... I can't wait for next Years shows. Speaking of which. Do you know when the next Queens Square is happening??? I would love to get to that again.... All the best and enjoy the rest of your Birthday Andrew, cheers,
John...
P.S. I was looking at the continuing work you are doing to your Capri and it is amazing, it just keeps getting better, which seems impossible!!! Even the Injectors!!!! Cheers...

Next Queens Square meet is next Sunday. I'll be going, but not in the Capri, unfortunately. I'll most likely wait until spring to take it.
The winter meets probably won't worth your while going as it's a trek for you, but hopefully I'll see you there sometime next year?
Thanks for the compliments, you're too kind. If I could ever make my car even half as nice as yours, I would be a happy manTaff40ish wrote:P.S. Firstly can I just wish you a very Happy Birthday too Andrew, Cant believe I missed this mate but I have not logged on proper today. Anyway hope you had a great day mate. Suppose you only have to look at your stunning 2.8i to feel like its your birthday EVERY day Nice one !Andrew 2.8i wrote:Thank you for your kind Birthday wishes!
Now John,
Mate what fantastic photos fella. Thanks for sharing them. Love those Capris You and Kris done us proud as always
John, I wish I had seen your pm in time as I may have asked to tag along in your superb 2.8i special John, as it did seem a bit "rainy " today and I did use my windscreen wipers earlier in the year for the one of the RSFFE meets we went too...remember I think once a year is enough for me to use them..they got soaking wet last time .....
John, seriously though your 2.8i special as ever looks truly superb. What a great side ion picture of it. Nice one mate ! Kris 2.0S looks fantastic too. I see only the two Capris then, Well done to you both
And not one but TWO DMC's...kinda like waiting for a bus and two turn up together Love that blue Escort van mate. Gorgeous
That red camper van in a couple of the pics looked well cool....and as for that Mustang...talk about wanting a fight with someone...how angry does that look....bet in sounds bloody angry too.....
So anyway John, all great cars mate. Seemed like a decent turnout for a meet so late in the year, and you are a legend for still getting out to them mate. Well done that man
All the best now
Nick

Re: December Walton Bridge Breakfast Club.... Last of the Year
Hi again,
Andy, I certainly will be watching to see this next Year, what ever happens, I'll be there!!! Could not miss this one.
Andrew,
I will say, there was a Strong turn out of the AA there, when I turned up.... It did make me think myself, but it also gave us a warm fuzzy feeling, just in case!!! But, as far as I'm aware, they just had Breakfast and were on their way again, perhaps touting for a bit of business!!!
Nick,
Yep, it was late notice, sorry. But you know me, Rain or Shine. Cheers for the compliments too... You can't see all the water marks, as it was pointless drying it off... But on a serious note Nick, you got to use your wipers at least 6 times a Year, or they seize up!!!
Cheers all. All the best,
John...

Walton Bridge is always a great meet, setup by Ash, an ex-Capri owner as well. Fantastic turnout as well for the last meet of the year. Always good to see John and any of you other guys come along, can't wait for next year show season!
Re: December Walton Bridge Breakfast Club.... Last of the Year
Hi John,
Thanks for posting some pictures of what looks a great meet, of which I'd promised myself to get along to one in 2015. Its great to see yours and Kris's cars looking good representing the forum, perhaps we could get a bit of interest next year from a few others off here
And thanks for reminding me to run my wipers up. I think they've only been used twice this year and they are in danger of seizing up like Nick's
All the best
Neil

Yes, but the wipers were used enough on the trip to Simply Ford to ensure they don't seize for a very long time!

Some great pictures John, what an eclectic turn out, very similar to Queens Square. Some great engine conversions on show too. Capris looking good as ever & I really like the look of that blue mk2 escort van too.
Cheers for posting.

Hi All,
Yep, this is Very Similar in Idea to Queens Square Rob and tough to say which I enjoyed the most, but even though only having been to Queens Square once, this could tip the scales.... This by NO MEANS puts down this Walton Bridge meet though, I will probably always strive to visit this one when on, its a fantastic location, right on the Thames, boats and all going past.... now I've talked myself into this one.... I think its how you feel in the morning as to which is the one to go to!!! Anyhow, yes, the Blue Escort Van Rob, this did look Stunning, just a shame about the AA vans all over the place!!! As to the Engine conversions, the Pic of the Moggy has not caught the shear Size of the Exhaust Manifold, it was a Work of Art!!! And as Andrew says, the Viva... Wow!!! Great to see these cars getting very Good, High standards of Engine swaps!!!! And a New lease of life to boot!!!
Hey Neil,
I was half hoping to catch up at the RS Breakfast meet a couple of weeks ago, but, it was pretty poor Weather, so I can't blame anyone for not venturing out in that, I was going Sideways drifting round the M25 with the side winds... This Walton Bridge meet is a Good one, if your coming up with Mark or anyone else to one, give me a shout and we'll make it a Capri meet for that Sunday!!!
Well, cheers all for now and keep those Wiper Arms working everybody!!! Cheers,
John...

I Cant wait for the new show season to start already fella and this is one meet I really wanna get to so count me in for a few trips to Walton Bridge in 2016. It will be great if a few members can attend too to bolster the forum representation that yourself and Kris have being doing such a fantastic job of at this great looking meet...and of course it will be great to convoy with your 2.8i special again fella.
