Hi Andrew,
Looks like you've had a good couple of Week Ends out fella. Your first photo, the Cortina, looks like a good'un to me. 2000e??? Had one of those when there where more about than you could shake a stick at, had a few MKIII's.. But, for me it's the Charger I think. There was a good'un at the show I went to today, but it had the Super Charger sticking out the bonnet, that kinda spoils them for me, nice clean original lines every time.....
Cheers for posting, hope you get to a few more shows and get the pic's up here, all the best,
John.

Re: Berkeley Classic Car Show
Hi John,
Thanks for your comments. I suppose the show wasn't too bad for a small local show. A lot of it was typical classic car show stuff, MGB, MG midget, Triumph TR5 and TR6, you know the sort of cars! There were a few gems here and there, just enough to make the trip worthwhile.
I spent most of the day around my own car, and was chatting to loads of people about it. I had some good positive comments about it too, which made my day!
All the best,
Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
Great photos. Another grand showing of some lovely motors by the looks of it.
Mate I not surprised your 2.8 injection got lots of attention. It would stand out in the best of company but it still must have felt good receiving the plaudits it deserves. Well done.
That Fiesta SuperSport looked fantastic. Love that shape Fiesta. And that Escort Mk2 RS2000 looked superb. They fetch big money in that condition now don't they. Only time you see them now is at shows.
My first car was an Escort Mk2......1.3 popular ! That's about as exciting that got but still did me proud. It got me and my mate on a round trip from London-Edinburgh-Glasgow-Loch Ness-John O'Groats and back down to London and the only breakdown we had was a leaking oil sump plug
Keep up the great photographic work fella.
Nick

Thanks for your kind words. Yes, the positive comments about my car did feel good, if I'm honest! You get used to compliments from family and friends, but when they come from people you don't know it seems to be a bit more genuine and mean a little more.
It sounds ridiculous, but it's like some kind of legal high! I'll have to get out and about to more shows to get my fix now!
Wow, that's a hell of a trip for a 1.3 Escort, must have taken ages! Good times!Fordoholic Nick wrote:My first car was an Escort Mk2......1.3 popular !
