Post by retroman81 »

I spotted this at a show over the weekend, like I said I'm not a fan of the 'Rat' look, but this one takes it to a whole new level :D

I'd love to rock up at a Jag owners club meet in this and enjoy the look of horror on their faces

Fair play to the guy. Probably paid £10000 for a proper rotten field find and created that!!!! I'd drive that anywhere...... Pinto powered of course.

It did look like a proper well engineered fun car, it's obviously used and abused but without the stress of worrying about the restoration you've had re-mortgage the house to pay for!

I've never seen an E-Type with a tow bar, let alone one towing an Airstream

I noticed there's a feature on this car in Practical Performance Car mag, to upset the purists even more, it's got BMW running gear!

I think its too self consciously "wacky" myself... but I am jaded and cynical. "Oh, yar, I was all like 'bloody hell dad, I'm gonna make a bloody rat look jag and take it to the blopdy jag meets'. You know, shake those duffers up a bit. I mean, that's me all over, you know? I'm just so out there. I'm so crazy. Only took a few thou of the trust fund too."
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.

I know what you mean Tom, when they come across as being deliberately ratted, it takes something away. I do like seeing cars like this though, get fed up with seeing one perfect car after another that never gets driven.
