Thats a awesome looking mk1 although purple velvet isnt my sort of color. but very 70's id love to have the wheels for my mk1 they would look sweet :) not so sure about the roof spoiler though but as for the rest of the car spot on. you just dont see styling like that anymore mind you there aint many mk1s left to modify. most are wrapped in cotton wool and dry stored 6 months of the year in a heated garage. either that or there rotting away at the bottom of someones garden or in a field or barn that far gone that it would cost you a arm and a leg just to get it roadworthty i was lucky with mine had to do some welding on her and change the engine but how many 40yr old cars are out there that dont need welding from time to time :)

I really wish they'd carried that hockeystick styling over into the MK2 and 3. Looks SO GOOD!

yeah tom thats what i like about the mk1's is the body lines yeah the mk2 & mk3's are nice looking but not as nice as the mk1 imo even the x-pack mk1 look the doggs dangly bits proper muscle car looking :mrgreen:
