Brilliant!..Thanks for that..Whos is the paris blue 2.8? is it std? it did 16.7 so assume std? mind you it was half a second quicker than that white cappa and the white cappa was quicker off the mark too (is that beaksters white tooned pinto?).

Mine's the black one Pete. I'm a bit annoyed as there was something holding it back. First eighth of the mile was great, but then it would always judder like it was missfiring and not go above 5000rpm, so had to shift up to forth.tck wrote: (is that beaksters white tooned pinto?).

i had a 3.1 that did that beaks, you had to change up and it was ok.
turned out to be the standard fuel pump, changed to a leccy one and it was fine!

The white one is Ghia15s 3.0 automatic, and you say its faster off the line than a 2.8!

Now when you watch the video, me against Glyn part, you are allowed to p*ss yourself laughing at my "kangaroo" start technique, as long as you realise that it was my first time ever up the strip in anything and I didn't expect the lights to go so fast! it was my worst run of the day...
