Really sorry to hear about the Sump.... Hope you manage to get this sorted out soon!!! But, onto your engine, WOW!!!! Are you going into competition with a certain Lacquer red Capri on here??? If not you should consider this.... your time & effort are really paying off in Wads!!! keep up the great work, take care, cheers,

Thanks for your kind comments.
I've had the sump baffle welded today by the chap in my local garage. He did it while I waited and wouldn't take a penny in payment. I owe him one! :D
There's a few cars on this forum that are my inspiration, including your own. I'll post proper photos of the engine soon.

Stunning, very impressed! I was thinking about doing this with the 3.0 but needed some motivation which I think I've found now!

The trouble is Peter, once you make a bit of something look OK, it makes the not so good bits look terrible in comparison. We can't have that now, can we? :lol:
