Hoping i get the phone call today to say she’s ready , not much choice of tyre to get really if she’s back today I might give her a blast to bed the wheels in fir winter
I will keep you posted
That's part of the reason I went for 15's more tyre choice and cheaper.
I might have to do that soon, Falkens are OK and but I've found the Nankangs Econex better personally - was looking at these the other day to save me doing all the tyre writing, but cost a fortune!! https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/382976446125?c ... m8EALw_wcB
Probably go for a set of 15x7 RS4's next time unless 13" are a resonable price.
Not cheap at all, but I need the white writing!!
I love my deep dish wheels so will be a shame to have to get something else, but more and more it looks like I have no choice

If the wheels are being powdercoated, make sure you check your wheel nuts for tightness every 100 miles or so, mine were coming a little loose more than once.
When the nut has got through the powdercoat it will be fine and stay tight

took her up the road and got the 45mph wheel wobble...o pants so back I go .
Really nice they take it in and I am waiting with that old boy who comes to shows with me .
Then a lady comes out and says NASA we have a problem the bloke dropped my Center cap so it’s got to be done again . And guess what I have ordered some more Center stickers from Ian .
So still no car back

Hi Jason,
The wheels look really good! I think you'll be happier with a powdercoated finish as it's much more resilient than painting.
It's a bit of a pain about the centrecap, but at least they didn't just slap it back on and hope you wouldn't notice.
Andrew.

Yes one of these things I spent ages once getting a clock gear straight only to see it shoot across the floor after a few choice words and a cup of tea you start again . But as you say Andrew at least it will be right . I noticed a sign saying I had to tighten my nuts after 30 miles I thought Christ with my legs and back it may be a few years before I do that
Yes I should have had them 15” but I do like the 13” as she drives so well .

Shame about the hassle but the wheels otherwise look superb. Not bad for a £1 a wheel (as you told my wife ).

Have you got the car back yet JM?
Besides your nuts Keep an eye on tyre pressures too, as occasionally they can leak after refurb. One of mine did!

Fingers crossed JM.
It drove ok before so no reason it should be an issue now.

Cheers Andy yes well pleased Mr Andrew said go powder coated and it’s a lot better then painted as that’s what I think they were .
On all the leaflets in bold writing just use soapy water .

I'm sure a little Britemax won't hurt them, mine had it straight away
