Greetings to all members from Croatia! My name is Ante and im from Croatia, small town between cities Split and Trogir called Kaštel Stari.
I bought mine last year on Valentines day :lol:/>/> lolol/>/>
1981. 2,0 v6 engine. At first car looked fine with few things to repair, but when i started to disassembly it i noticed a big job to expect, but Capri is my dream car, so i didn't think too much and started to removing everything, bolt by bolt and part after part. Here are some pictures:

After almost one year of promises of body workshop owner that project will start "next monday". I was forced to take the car and give it to real Capri lover and excellent guy who in just few days did the some of major work:

Good work and great to see another one saved. It seems they rust just as badly in Croatia as they do in the UK!

That looks a really good restoration. I hope you manage to make the after market front wings fit without too much additional shaping and filling work.
My wife's family are from Split, we married in Sveti Duje and she has cousins in Marasovica near to the Riva.

thx mate! yeah, every capri rust at the same place. This one was in snowy place so it is more corroded than cars that are here at the sea.

Looks amazing now you really have been busy , yes mk2 bumpers I would give Tickover a ring as I know I did see some there the other week or young Martin at Capri Gear . And last resort sue at Capri club .
But I have noticed that lots of people seem to be fitting mk2 bumpers and grills on to Mk3 capris .
There was a car programme here called wheeler dealers where the new chap Ant made mk2 bumpers that did turn out really nice .
Thanks for the update

Thanks everyone for their help with this restoration! Car was finished in June 2020!

For now only things that are left to do is to find MK2 chrome bumpers in mint or near mint condition, and hopefully find the exactly the same seats or the same color material.
If someone knows where i can find this original blue(or sort of) vinyl leather i would be grateful!
