Totally agree with both above, it's going to be amazing. Hope you get it all back together in time to enjoy the summer in it & if you need advice on how it goes back together you know where to look :goodluck:

Hey Des,

If you want to, please feel free to bring your Polisher down to Beaulieu with you and give me a demo, on my car if needs must, as to how you got that shine..... It looks like it's Glass Coated... Nick, you best get your best Polishing cloth on standby for when this car hits the road!!!

This is going to be one Tasty motor when finished!!! I can't wait to see the finished results. Keep up the Great work, cheers,

John....

:xd: :xd: well spotted Andrew the "A Team" are found at last lol...

On a serious note I was looking at the original burgundy stripe decals today.... Absolutely hate them as they do nothing for the car although I've seen a number that are not burgundy .....

Seems like an age I know but we finally have the car back to the workshop and the refit has just started. Screws and Old items are temp fitted just to keep the car rolling but crazy as it sounds just finished cleaning/polishing the underside... Not that anyone will see or notice lol.....

Hi Des,
The underside of your car is looking superb! You'll have to set up some mirrors to show it off at shows.
It looks as though your struts have been treated to a refurb too. What paint did you use? The colour looks like a close match to the original.

Hi Andrew

No problem, Steve spent many hours and a considerable amount of cash having ford colours for struts, engines etc colour matched so I will ask and get back to you my friend... Though about mirrors but some shows are quite a distance and I'd need to arrive the day before just to clean her bottom :xd: May have then for local ones though...

Started on the sound deadening this afternoon

Hi Des,
I was only thinking this week about how you were doing with the restoration.......
Looking great (No surprise there) Going to be a stunner when completed :D

A mate with a Fiesta Supersport takes mirrors to shows. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/386/2017 ... 2045_b.jpg https://farm1.staticflickr.com/437/2017 ... f4c7_b.jpg Real commitment
