Another great day spent with my Capri

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Hi all,

Mrs Fordoholic Nick had to work today so this left me some more quality time with the Laser :D

Guys I said I would post a few pics of the under trim today as the light was fading last night. So its pretty much all done now. I have removed the foot well side panels and just sprayed them up with HFVP Dark Grey, so they will going back in tomorrow. So anyway here's a couple of pics...

The boot trims were one of the first trims I sprayed with HFVP. Need to clean the carpet though

Anyway as said just a couple of pics to show the finished trim, bar the side foot wells which were filthy but now look new :D

All the best

Nick

Cheers Peter. Was a bit of a journey with parts of trim all over the flat at one stage  but its a great feeling to get it all fitted back in and thankfully looking good for the effort and time. Definately worth it mate !

All the best

Thanks very much indeed chaps.

Rob, it really has turned out better than I could have hoped so it was definately worth rattling all those HFVP cans mate  You know yourself how good HFVP is with the remarkable results you got with your dashboard :)

Mark, cheers fella. Thanks for the comment on the steering wheel. I was very nervous that it would work with my intetior "plan" so when John commented similar to you it put my mind at ease...Phew ! The more I see it now the better I feel at how much I paid for it  The guy I got it from said his mate trimned up three wheels like this. He seemingly used to trim the wheels for CCI so its very good quality. Mark its taking me a bit of time getting used to it after the smaller non original I had been used to. This one has a superb feel to it being leather. Mark you have been busy yourself electroplating items to stunning levels. Better have my sunglasses handy when looking at yours and Andrews engine bays at Beaulieu if you can make it.

All the best chaps
