Brighten up that old ford badge..

Just a tip this, found it on YouTube :D used this to great effect on my rear light lenses. As the original light blue Ford badges are so scarce I thought I'd try it on these too. This is the result after just a few minutes using Bicarbonate of soda, mixed to a light paste with water & rubbed over with a wet cloth. It's just abrasive enough to clean the milkiness off the face & not damage it. Finish off with a coat of wax & they look much better. Obviously the more time you spend the better the finish. Looks much better for not a lot of effort!

Excellent tip.

I have to say I prefer Andrew's blue check tea towel though :lol:

No one I know can keep one that clean, Andrew obviously buys in bulk specifically for his photo shoots....:D

Cheated & used paper towel in the garage, note to self 'must use a coloured tea towel next time' :D

I do love a nice Blue Oval Badge...pulls at my heart strings every time...but hey that's why I am "Fordoholic Nick" :wave:
