Hi,
Very nice indeed. I like the extra retro touches like the number plate and the gear knob.
All the best,
Andrew.

I think you'd have to come across a policeman who is extremely fastidious in his enforcement of the law to be pulled over. You'll be OK.
Andrew.
Re: Ford Capri 3.0 Ghia 1981
Yeah let's hope so Andrew, mind you I've only driven it 7 miles in 8 months and may well sell when finished as I'm looking at new project already lol

The amount of hours and cuts to hands were worth it in the end, engine bay looking good

Re: Ford Capri 3.0 Ghia 1981
Thanks Andy I worked hard on them but am going to fit the Ghia alloys, tempted to fit the rear screen louvre but is it a step too far, what you think?. Seems a shame not to fit it as it's quite rare as its from ford and not a copy, ( may have them copied and sell them cheap so more capris have them lol

If you were going to keep it I would say fit all the parts you like. If you are going to sell it, personally I would keep it as close to standard as possible.A king wrote:Thanks Andy I worked hard on them but am going to fit the Ghia alloys, tempted to fit the rear screen louvre but is it a step too far, what you think?. Saying that I prefer the RS Alloys to the Ghia/S wheels on any Capri but that's my personal preference
Andy
Re: Ford Capri 3.0 Ghia 1981
Yes I do as you prefer the RS alloys but I've bought the ghia ones now and if I don't fit my misses will throw a fit lol

I'm alright on here cause my lovely misses never reads on here ( all she says is you on that site again ) I've got a good shout at a Mk1 escort, I know there's still millions and millions of them out there but I'm so tempted....

I get that too. Your Ghia is a stunner, show us the pictures of the whole car when the wheels are on. As Andy, I prefer the 4 spokes but best you fit the Ghia wheels to keep the peaceA king wrote: ( all she says is you on that site again )
