When you think of how much mirage charge for an afternarket cover for the relay, it's a cheaper alternative if you have all the polishing stuff already.
I don't mind polishing up what is already under the bonnet to make it look good, but I definitely won't be adding any extra bling.

My order arrived OMG I think I have over done it as I will not need any more polishing stuff for sometime . That’s was so cheap .
Also how bad is it they send you a book . That ultrasound machine is going up on my list ...

Yes, they do good quality items for the trade. I bought some other buffing wheels from the seller on Ebay, but they aren't as good quality as the ones from Moleroda.

Yes I was working out the space of a clock workings and stated looking at at 6L machine what is £550 . But I will put the book away for after xmas and have another look .

Did you ever get an ultrasonic cleaner? The reason I ask is that I've just spent a minute or 240 cleaning that steering coupling I bought at CCI and wondered if there might be an easier way?

No I have still not got one I should do really just been doing stuff the old way . I bet that looks like new now are you going to paint the part ?
When you get to our age Dan you can’t bat of rubbing and cleaning in the garage or shed

It looks alright as it is, but I'm not sure how long it will stay like that, even if protected with some lacquer. I'll probably paint it satin black.

The verdict. No it’s gone really blemish and dark ? I did use panel wipe before using the clear coat and did spray 3 coats on , but it’s pants . So how the clear coat does not work has me baffled.

Just read this post, and I was wondering if this might be worth trying? It`s for sealing printed circuit boards, which are copper, against moisture. It does work for that, maybe worth trying?

That does look very interesting , yes almost a coat of plastic . I wonder what I could use that on . I have a old BR train lamp at the moment that I was just going to clean and clear coat that might be better to use the plastic spray .

Thanks Jason. Yes, it was quite a sight when I got it. All that dirt was covering a lot of surface rust too.
It was me who said that CCI have stopped supplying the reproduction coupling, it was the seller that said the refurb kits are no longer available, although I've just looked on Ebay and there are some on there.
