Disaster! :( engines been stripped and needs alot! of work, including acid dipping, new heads and potentially new piston rings after a port bore and polish....so heres some pics of that and an alternator iv been working on..

ok heres an update! cars still in paint/workshop having wing realligned and bonnet straightened, in the mean time iv been to capri gear (my dream workshop) and got some bits off martin including a windscreen that isnt fragmented :)

tidied up gearbox all bearings seem ok, selects all gears ( one of the push to reverse ones) will be doing a swap with someone for a 4 speed original ;)

been battling the surface corrosion on the headlamp holders spent a day doing just one :S so heres some pics:

looks dam good, only 1 thing your stipes are too high they should be in line with the bumpers not the bottom of the stripe following the fold in the side, hope it is not to late to remove them and lower.

yeah :/ knew i should have done them myself, hopefully be able to salvage them at a later date or atleast remove them and get new ones :) still looks good for now..till bumpers are on :D

Love the colour though and the stripes are a good contrast as well.

few bits done, sunroof cable and conduit removed cleaned up and greased, found mud on the conduit which im guessing is why it was jammed in the first place. hammerite blue just for good measure :)

sunroof was a pig to fit spesh with the new seal, nothing a bit of vaseline cant cure :D

will try get some pics of engine bay on friday when its light, cars back on old wheels and axle stands now ready for colder weather. glass gradually going in :)

ok took the wiring out of the tescos bag under the dash to reveal a massive tangle of wires that have lots of broken/missing connectors :( been a bit savaged !

ok done some more bits to the car, both door frames, glass, handles etc are on,
front grill and bonnet leading edge trim is on,

no.1 gear lever
no.2 heater drain cover
no..3 and 4 clutch arm cover (depends which box you r using)
