had a successful day..kind of..

started fitting more interior..some seat belts are in
glove box fitted

had a mare with the rear number plate light fixings, thought the holes were just painted in but the bolt heads were previously drilled off leaving the threads locked in, so had to drill and easy out them..worked on all but 1 so have to think of a way of threading the hole again :S

found the helicoil inserts i thought id lost!! and fixed the inlet manifold :) just need some gasket sealant and can fit the thermostat housing hose her up and hopefully start her! :D

started paint stripping front bumper and the brush went blunt so to be continued!

alarm is going in but wiring diagram is missing components that come with it :S

small update :)

ok after wiring for god knows how long to fit alarm and remake original looms the dash is finally back together

i have done an LED conversion on the clocks and fitted a cd player and bigger/better door speakers.

currently in the process of refurbing the seat rails, seat belt anchors and fitting the rest of the interior

ok so iv got a week off work to do the final push and get this car on the road!!

had it up on the ramps today for the first time and got the exhaust on :D

quick update!

couldnt get the electronic ignition in the dizzy to work so put original points and condenser in, and it started!! :D :D

3" exhaust is loud! :D and tappets need slightly adjusting, oil temp guage not really working, but other wise runs lovely!

even got to drive her out of the motorclub outside for some sunlight!! got some smiles from people driving past! :D

not far off now got to be done for fordfair! :D

heyy thanks alot guys!

its MOT time so just sorting the last niggly bits, was hoping to get it through with autochoke and change for manual afterwards...but the auto choke housing fell apart :(

the MOT is on friday and iv only just ordered the manual choke conversion kit...its do-able right ? :P

Seems pretty solid so far thanks bud. Gear stick has the classic flop but until someone remanufactures the bushes it'll do :)
