Re: The Daily Driver - 56k no go!
So How the day started
Floors definately black and definately too shiney
Carpet Midway through recolouring
Le Spraybooth with primer on stuff
Inspirational shot to remind me how good satin black on yellow looks
Slipped the wiring loom in and figued it'd be rude not to fit the rear lights to give me some moe motivaiton
Then as Coldplay said Its all Yellow
Then at 4:40ish The sun finally made it to me....
Sunroof in for colour check, yes that's dust/overspray all over it, gotta love working in a small garage with no ventilation! Came out alright considering i sprayed it in the dark....
Panel gaps what panel gaps...
Oh and The Exhaust, Gonna give it the noise it so needs....

Exciting times. Mines just a few months behind yours, I'm aiming to finish it in time for CRAP. Are you going to be there?
Looking great by the way, some rapid progress!

Great work Andrew, love the colour. Are you going to put that Horse grille ornament back on when its done? What happened to your Capri that has the Zetec engine in it?

Re: The Daily Driver - 56k no go!
lol yeah gave up a week ago as had too many other commitments unfortunately
was having to cut corners to get it done so decided to put it on hold till i get back from honeymoon and get it done right...
Well that was until last week when i was told i didnt have to work my notice as i quit my job last week which gave me all this week to do the car
Then the phone rang at 8:45 this morning calling me into the new job early so i;m now working all week and back to ignoring the car!
Current wet weathers been a huge holdup not having anywhere to work inside to paint other than the garage is a nightmare, with the rain and a car with no doors means i cant stick that outside so its been slow progress
