Did a few jobs today on the Capri , I spotted these protecter boots for the mighty pinto engine in classic ford magazine but the advert is for a company in USA and at £65 postage I was not paying that so picked these up on ebay. It will help with heat as there is no heat shield on the Sportex manifolds.
Also fitted new fog lamps as my glass was broken from a stone chip last year and was playing on my OCD it was there

It's good that you're able to get these little jobs done.
I like the heatshield things for the H.T. leads, but is it not possible to angle the leads so they don't go near the manifold?

Andrew.

Yes the leads are tucked up more but it’s help keeps the spark plugs to run cooler , I will give them a go hoping when we get together again for a show I will take a temperature gauge reading with the covers against say nicks or peters 2.0 and see if it keeps them any cooler .
Will report on the mad findings .
