My 1978 Capri 2.0S

Post by markblack77 » Mon Sep 02, 2019 6:51 pm

Finally after near 5 years I recon I got my Capri out of storage at my parents place...

Living in London meant no space so as much as its sad to say it got the odd knock here and there over the years in the barn it survived better than it would of done sitting on the street in Hackney!

Looks nice in the pics (well I think it does) needs a bit of TLC here, little bit of damage, few rusty bits to sort etc.

Body work will have to wait until next year I recon when I have some cash save up :)

Anyhow here's a pic.

Liking your car a lot, big fan of the S, nice recaro seats too. Looking forward to seeing more of it. Hope you can get more use out of it now, & yes, it looks nice in the pic, enjoy

Total agree with Rob I would use it this year and next and not worry to much about the paint work . Will you be doing Brooklands this Sunday ?

my sister in law looks after a car show in Eidenbridge that on Sunday so I promised her I'd go along there... so no Brooklands for me!

Hi and that looks a lovely S. Reminds me of the one that features in the original Ford marketing/MK3 launch video.
