Capri III (1980) 2.9i 24v Cosworth

hi all,
that's my first post in this forum and i present my car.
But first about me: i'm 43 years old, living in Germany near Stuttgart. In the years 1990 till 1993 i did a education as car-mechanic by ford. I worked in this job till 2001. Although I worked at Ford, I did not know during my education that there was a Ford Capri. A friend bought a Ford Capri III and I asked him what car it is. That's how my story begins.
1991: the 1st one was a 2.3 with 108 hp, widened and yellow colour. I changed a lot of things, at last I put in the 2,9i 12v engine. After a crash I bought my second one.
1997: the 2nd one was a 2.0 V6 with 90 hp. It was a midnight blue one, with 7x15 RS rims, power steering and a sunroof. I rebuild all the vehicle parts from the old vehicle into this one. After a crash again I bought only a used body.
2000: the 3rd one:
I restored the body first and only a few welding work was necessary. Then the painter paints my car in a light blue. I build in the 2,9i 24v Cosworth (BOA) engine. I only did a few test drives and parked the Capri in the garage. Because of professional changes, I could not continue my hobby. The car stands still till now.
2014 - 2016: I tried to bring back my Capri on the streets. But i noticed, i have to do a lot of work again. I had problems with my brakes, most of the rubber parts was broken, also my tyres.
The engine did not run well and the brake pedal was very hard. I had a master brake cylinder from a scorpio, but the scorpio has brake discs at both axes. I only had brake discs at the front axle.
2017: rebuild the brakes, rear axle brake discs and calipers from the Scorpio II, front axle brake discs 283 mm from the Sierra RS Cosworth with calipers from the Mondeo/ Scorpio II, new master brake cylinder from the Scorpio 24v Cosworth. I rebuild the wire harness and some electric parts. The problem why the engine did not run well was wrong connection. I have the original connection diagram of Ford, but it has a few mistakes. Now the engine is running very good, brakes are fine and I have to go to the TÜV this week.
I hope that I can drive again in 1 or 2 weeks.
