Re: Me new laser 2.0 may 1987
It has done well but the old boy who kept it in a massive warm garage since 2009 only did about 250 miles in them 8 years and it’s been garaged since new I did 1500 miles on dry days only lastyear . She’s booked in for a service with the tickover boys nextmonth and a full coolant change .
Now my old Capri D98Nkj would have cost me so much money to looked after in them years and to get to the standard I have now .
My wife said that I need a large den that has a recliner chair all my clocks and watches with my car sitting next to me and she would never see me . Very true
Roll on summer , we are going up to the CCI in May the 6th also looking forward to next years 50th birthday .

So I am really pleased I did my letters to all the old owners I have had contact with them all now .
Well worth doing as I have so much more history with the car .

As Andy said, great photo. I'm pleased that contacting the previous owners has worked out well and it's given you some additional photos to document the history of your car. I notice that back in 2003 it still had the Laser wheels fitted, apart from that it's hardly changed at all.

Ah, Norfolk and Suffolk air museum at Flixton. Few years since I was last there. Nice bit of extra history.

Yes the mud and water OMG also peter how do you know these pictures your spot on the son or 2nd owner lives nextdoor almost , but the information I have and the pictures is great also I think it’s been a toy from day one so well loved and cared for what is great news .
Going for OCD alert but I have got a posh A4 folder and will fill it with all the history I have and pictures so will be about 300 pages also I have all the old mots & tax’s discs from day one .
I might add up all the bills as well from day one or is that really OCD .
Yes I can put the wheels back what would be straight forward , and the 2.8 seats and door cards and she will be back to standard . But I am happy with the car .
So do the v888 form and contact them owners .
Also I still can not believe how peter guessed where the picture was taken with just one jet plane in the back

Er there's at least three planes in that picture, the Javelin, a Meteor behind it, and what looks like a super sabre to the left.... but I might be wrong on that.Jasonmarie wrote:with just one jet plane in the back

I bet you can't wait for the sun to start shining to take her for a spin.
