Hi Danny,
That's terrific news!
Finally, some Capri-shaped V6 power is on your drive! I look forward to seeing you in a nice shiny 3.0S at the CCI Nationals in May....
Andrew.

Is that to stick in the boot instead of cement?

My thoughts exactly! Was one of the main reasons I went for it in the end to be honest
And cheers Nick, I wasn't sure about the matt black ratty look but its kinda growing on me a bit!
Exhaust will be loud and plentiful don't you worry!! I'm thinking twin 3" exits with no silencers, in stainless steel!!

I'm really struggling for a name! The only name jumping out is Jamey but I don't really feel like it's a very feminine name... for now I'm just sticking with beast or slut

Very camp name Jamey was a kids show called” Jamie and the magic touch ... “
Beast sounds great
Please note anybody on here with the Jamie as his name or even her or maybe transgender well anyway you know what I mean .
I mean who gets names after a kids show
What was that kids show about somebody coming out ? To play ?

I've just had to google this, apparently it ran from 1976-1979 so already I'm going to assume it isn't considered "politically correct" anymore

Hey Danny, check out how much this guy wants for his side louvres same as yours on "Jamey the beast". I hooe you are keeping yours as they are pretty rare and look great. But if you needed a few quid you know you can get a few quid for them

Sell them Danny, they're horrible !!!!!!
If you could get that for them that will go a long way towards getting the parts to mend the front end!

I'm not sure what to do with the louvres - I'm in two minds!! Part of me thinks they are horrible and another part of me thinks they suit the imperfect look it has with the matt black paint... time will tell!
In the meantime I've made a list of panels and parts needed - express panels will be loving me soon enough! They appear to make a lot of handy panels, like the whole top plate and inner wing rail (which is bent to fuck) and would be great to just cut the old one out and put a new one in rather than try and unfold it like a scrunched up piece of paper

Thanks Paul, I'm really excited to get it started and the other half is working on Saturday so fingers crossed it's nice enough I can get out there for a bit and start pulling everything apart!
I'm so excited by the prospect of having it and well chuffed to have it sat on my drive

Mini update - purchased a welder yesterday as was payday (went for a Clarke pro 90 with gas as was recommended on here!) so when that comes I'll start making the patches/pieces I need to fill up some of the holes I found when I took the seats out...
Had a spare hour this morning before driving over to Essex for the weekend and clearly some of the previous 21 owners have bodged things so will take a little longer than I originally would have thought!
Nevertheless, I'll get on with it when the welder comes and will update with some pictures when I manage to start and in the meantime if anyone wants a strobe interior let me know as it will be up for sale soon
